01

Design Approach

The facility is designed to be welcoming to patients and visitors.  The 2-story lobby and glass wall fills the interior with daylight, and the oversized canopy provides protection from the rain and sun to visitors.  The building is designed with solid concrete walls which reduce construction time and allows the hospital to open more quickly.  This type of durable exterior wall can be faced with any type of decorative stone or brick, or can be painted.

02

Design Approach

The use of high windows in the operating rooms improves doctor and staff comfort by providing a visual access to the exterior, and allows for elimination of the MedGas evac system.

03

Design Feature

Patient safety is enhanced by the oversized observation window and ample floor access around this CT.  Note the cabinets within easy reach of the CT technician.  The facility features a full imaging suite with MRI, CT, and XRay.
